5x Rust servers

It means you gather five times the normal amount of each resource. One tree gives five trees' worth of wood, and the same applies to stone, metal and sulfur. Many 5x servers also add kits, teleports or quicker crafting, so the pace runs well ahead of vanilla.

Not always. Wipe schedules vary from server to server, and some follow the monthly force wipe while others reset weekly or every two weeks. The Next wipe column on each row gives the estimate for that server. The force wipe countdown shows the next mandatory reset.

Nearly all of them are listed in the Modded tab. Facepunch requires any server that changes gather rates to be tagged modded, so a 5x server outside that tab is breaking the rule. The vanilla tag describes difficulty, not rates, so it does not tell you about gather speed.

Yes, but check the group limit on each row first. Many servers keep Rust's default of 8, which means groups of up to 8 share the map. Some set a limit of 2, 3 or 4, which is easier for one player. You can also see solo servers or trio servers on their own pages.
