When Rust servers wipe
Every server stops for the monthly force wipe. Many also wipe on a day and hour of their own, and the pattern below is built from wipes we recorded, not from what owners promise.

Restarts are left out: a new map less than six hours after the last counts as the same wipe. Times are UTC: UK time is the same in winter and an hour ahead in summer; US East is five hours behind in winter and four in summer.

The force wipe is the first Thursday of every month, at 19:00 UK time, when the game update lands. Every public server wipes at that moment, whether or not it wipes at other times. The countdown above shows the time left until the next one.
How often do Rust servers wipe between force wipes?
Weekly, biweekly and monthly are the common rhythms, and some servers run their own shorter or longer cycles. The split above counts the servers we track in each group. A server's page records its last wipe and its next one, so you can check the habit rather than guess it.
What is the busiest day and hour for a Rust wipe?
It changes as servers come and go, but Thursday leads at the moment, and the heatmap shows which hours of the week carry the most wipes. Wipes tend to cluster in the evening of the server's home region, so players are online for a fresh start. All times on this page are UTC.
