Rust Dashboard

Terms of use

These are the terms that apply when you use Rust Dashboard at rustdashboard.space.

On the data. Server information on Rust Dashboard comes from two places: Steam's public Rust server list and the servers themselves. We read it every five minutes. That leaves room for error. A wipe can be reported late. A name can be published that is not true. A player count can be a few minutes behind. Read every page as a snapshot of a moment, not as a promise.

Browsing. There is no account and no payment. You can read the server list, a wipe schedule or a single server page without signing in. Space these requests out. Rapid automated requests slow the site for everyone else.

Automated access. Search engines, bots and AI crawlers may read the site. Check robots.txt and llms.txt first. Both files say what sits where. Keep your request rate low enough that ordinary visitors still get quick pages.

If you run a server. Your server appears here because Steam's public list carries it. Each page shows what your server publishes: name, tags, player slots, wipe times. You change that on your own server, not with us. Most edits appear within five minutes.

Reuse of data. If you want a copy of the dataset, write to hello@rustdashboard.space and tell us what you need it for. We will reply.

Independence. Rust Dashboard has no link to Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

Updates to these terms. We can change this page at any time. The date below records the last change. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Any question about these terms goes to hello@rustdashboard.space.

Questions

3 questions
Does Rust Dashboard guarantee the server data is correct?

No. We read the data from Steam's public server list and from servers directly, every five minutes. Servers can report a wipe late or publish an inaccurate name, and a player count can lag behind the live figure. Treat each page as a recent snapshot.

Can I use Rust Dashboard without an account?

Yes. All pages, including the server list and individual server pages, are open to anyone. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. Just avoid sending rapid automated requests, as they slow the site for other players.

How does a server end up listed on Rust Dashboard?

A server appears because Steam's public Rust server list includes it. Everything shown on its page comes from what the server itself publishes. If you want to change something, change it on the server; we pick up most edits within five minutes.
