About this list
This page shows every server that has Facepunch's tutorial switched on, or that has 'tutorial' in its name. On those servers new players start on a separate island and learn the controls, crafting and building before they reach the main map. The table updates every five minutes and sits busiest first, so the order tells you where people are right now.

The ring is how full a server is; the line its players hour by hour over the last day. Next wipe is an estimate (~) unless it is the force wipe (FW); hover a time for the reason.
Worth knowing
The tutorial changes how you start, not how the server plays. Rates, team limits and wipe schedules stay as they are. Read the Gather column to see the multiplier, and the Group column for the team size; servers that leave it blank are usually running Rust's default. Region is worth checking before you commit, because a server across an ocean can put you in a queue or on high ping. The Next wipe column carries the estimate, so you know whether you are joining a fresh map or a late one.
Questions
4 questionsHow do I spot a tutorial server in the table?
Look for the tutorial tag in the Tags column, or the word in the server name. We list both, because owners set the tag themselves and some do not. Every entry here has one or the other.
Does the tutorial cost me my progress?
No. The island is a separate start and the main map is where your game continues. What you learn there carries over as knowledge rather than items. The server's rules and rates apply once you arrive.
Will a tutorial server reset more often?
It follows the same wipe schedule as any other Rust server. Most wipe monthly and some weekly or every two weeks. The Next wipe column shows the estimate for each server, so check it before you spend time building.
Can I skip the tutorial if I already know the game?
Yes, you can leave the island and join the main map. The tutorial is there for players who want it, not a gate. Nothing on the server changes once you are through.
More about these servers
Lots of the busiest official servers keep the tutorial on, which is why this list looks close to a normal popularity chart rather than a set of quiet practice grounds. If you want the tutorial and a lower population, sort through the smaller entries further down. The tag is set by the server owner, so a server can appear here by name alone. You can search the table for a word such as a region or a rate, but the search matches names only. For a wider sort by region, group size or platform, use the full server list. New players may also find the beginner list useful once the island is behind them.
