Server performance
48 hours: hourly readings. 30 to 90 days: one point a day, with the day's average and lowest fps, most entities and most memory, measured since 16 Oct. From asking the server directly; low fps and a climbing entity count mean lag.

Quick answers
from the figures on this pageAbout
Is testing online, and how reliable is it?
Right now testing is running. About 2 days 14 hours ago it restarted, judging by the uptime figure it gives. Over the last 7 full days, 167 of 168 hours were online: 99%. Our records for it start on 16 October 2026, when Rust Dashboard first saw it.
Which version of Rust does testing run?
testing runs Rust network protocol 2635 and build 168909, and Linux is the system under it. Joining needs the same protocol on your side, and Steam handles that update.
Where is testing located?
In North America, testing lists itself with the NA tag. The location shown at Rust Dashboard is the one the server states; no lookup of the machine's position happens. You'll connect at 157.85.86.76:21595.
Does testing run smoothly?
Across the last 48 hours the average was 239 fps, with a floor of 231. The world held as many as 7,026 entities, counting buildings, deployables and all the rest. It drew as much as 2,936 MB of memory at peak. Players feel lag when fps drops and the entity count climbs.

The browser in the game reads gmvanilla (Game mode): The mode is vanilla survival; mp20 (Max players): It holds 20 slots; ts2 (Group limit): 2 is the most you can have per team; v2635 (Protocol): Your game needs to be on the same version, protocol 2635, to get in; cs168909 (Build): This one runs game build 168909; ptrak (Networking): The game's standard network layer, RakNet, carries this server; $r? (Region code): This server sets no region code; ^w (Weekly): It wipes once a week; ^z (Modded): The game is changed by plugins or settings; the listing is Modded; ^y (Carbon): Carbon handles the plugins on this server; NA (North America): In the server browser it sits under North America from testing as its tags. Map and rules
What are the rules and settings on testing?
You will not find a gather rate in the name of testing. 2 players is the most a group can hold (duo). survival is what it plays, the usual game, where you gather, build and raid. You can fight other players and raid their bases. Modded is its category in the browser, because plugins or settings change the game. Carbon plugins run on it. VAC is on: that is Valve's anti-cheat.
Which map does testing run?
A procedural map of size 1,000 with seed 50000 is what testing runs, generated by the game. Because size and seed fix the map, a RustMaps view is available from this page. This is the map name: Custom Map.
